Focus is on preparing for your session. After you have completed a questionnaire we will discuss location, styling, your vision and preferences. Together we will design the perfect photoshoot experience tailored just for YOU.
It's time to create! I will closely be monitoring the weather, tide charts, wind and sun times leading up to your session - it's all about optimising what we've got. You can relax and just be present knowing that you are guided every step of the way.
Two weeks following your session you will receive a link to your online gallery of beautiful artistically edited images. In addition to digital images I offer a range of print products so you may make the most of celebrating your pregnancy.

You may not exactly be feeling 'photoshoot ready'. I get it - I have been there - you're feeling softer than usual, your feet and back hurt, sleeping has been rough and you're not feeling like one of those influencers on the 'gram who just make pregnancy look effortless! But you know what, soon this will all be a distant memory - you'll be entering a new chapter of your life - complete with mid-night feedings and nappy changing - and what will you have left to remember it by?

Frequently asked questions
what should i wear? do you provide dresses / fabrics?
I have carefully curated the most beautiful client wardrobe which you are welcome to make a selection from. Chiffon silks, sparkle tulle and lace offer the perfect styling counterpart to your session. Elevate and bring a touch of luxury to your session with these bespoke handmade pieces. Prefer a minimal look? I additionally have a range of sheer silk fabrics which offer wonderful creative opportunities.
how far into my pregnancy is ideal for maternity photos?
I recommend between 32 and 36 weeks. We want to capture that beautiful belly!
when do you run outdoor sessions?
Sessions are run year round and typically at sunrise. Lighting is key in creating these artistic images so it is important if you're wanting to shoot outdoors you're willing to set the alarm - I promise it'll be worth it!
where do you shoot?
The Northern Rivers has some of the most beautiful beaches and definitely some of my favourite places to shoot. Creeks, waterfalls, fields - if you have a specific location in mind please get in touch and I will do my best to accomodate you. When choosing a location I am always considering the setting with an artist's eye. I evaluate sun direction, tide charts and weather leading up to your session and keep my diary flexible around your date should we need to make any last minute changes on account of poor weather conditions.
do i need to know how to pose?
You can relax knowing your photoshoot is fully guided. I will use my knowledge of lighting and angles to highlight your beautiful blooming belly and bring out the best of you.
HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
I know you're excited to see your images so within 48 hours following your session I will send you a few sneak peaks to your phone. Your full gallery will then be available for viewing 2 weeks after your session. I always strive to make sure you have your images and place any print orders before your due date!
can my partner be in some of the photos?
Absolutely! Your partner is more than welcome to join in if you would like images with them also.
how far in advance should i book?
I only accept 3 to 4 bookings per month to allow for a personalised approach and ensure your images are retouched with my undivided attention. While I sometimes can accomodate last minute requests I recommend booking 6 to 8 weeks in advance,
what if it's raining on the day?
We will be in contact leading up to your session and if conditions are looking less than ideal I will speak with you about rescheduling. In saying that, mother-nature can be on our side; large gusts of wind and light rain can really create a cinematic vibe. It all depends on how adventurous you want to be. Please know that your comfort is always of the upmost importance to me and on my mind.
